The ASA is responsible for ensuring that all advertising across Zimbabwe — print, broadcast, digital, and outdoor — complies with established advertising standards and codes of practice.

02

ADJUDICATION OF COMPLAINTS

When consumers, competitors, or industry participants lodge complaints about advertising content, the ASA investigates and adjudicates these disputes — issuing rulings that uphold the integrity of advertising in Zimbabwe.

03

ETHICAL ADVERTISING STANDARDS

The ASA maintains and enforces the ethical standards that protect consumers and competitors — including rules around truthfulness, decency, social responsibility, and fair competitive practice across all media channels.
